Rizes Wood was founded in 2012 in the heart of Rethymno, Crete — a region where olive trees have shaped culture, craftsmanship, and daily life for centuries. Our mission is to highlight the natural beauty and durability of Cretan olive wood by transforming it into useful and timeless objects.
 

Every piece begins with carefully selected wood from sustainable sources. Olive wood is known for its high density, its unique grain patterns, and its exceptional resistance, making it ideal for kitchenware, decorative pieces, and artisan creations. In our workshop, each product is shaped, carved, and finished by hand, without chemicals or varnishes — only pure natural wood, treated with respect and skill.
